From a fine Italian restaurant to an elegant Garden District bistro whose menu changes with the seasons, you’re sure to find a great place to eat on this new list of culinary favorites from New Orleans newspaper, the Times-Picayune.

The restaurants for the list were selected by the paper’s restaurant critic Brett Anderson. He narrowed down the top contenders from around 30 restaurants where he visited and dined unannounced, and then the top contenders were visited more than once. Only fine dining restaurants were considered, and restaurants who were previously named to the newspaper’s best new restaurants list for this year were excluded.
